At Lokahi we understand that reaching out for counselling can be an overwhelming experience. For that reason, we strive towards meeting clients where they are at, by offering other options like walk-and-talk therapy and telephone counselling.

Free Phone Consultation

Our initial meeting will be by telephone. During the course of the call I will work to get a clear understanding of the concerns that bring you to counselling. You may raise any questions you have about any aspect of the counselling process and decide whether I am the right fit for your needs. If we both feel we are a good fit, we will proceed with the first booking, which may be held virtually or outdoors. 

Virtual Therapy

Life events, family obligations, commuting long hours and other factors can make it more difficult to fit in a counselling session.  Our world has become busier and more technologically connected than ever before, and the realm of counselling has advanced right alongside. There is a growing demand for virtual counselling sessions. At Lokahi Wellness Collective, our clients from around the Province of BC, and other parts of Canada can access counselling remotely via telephone or on our secure online counselling platforms. Virtual Counselling can be accessed from the comfort and convenience of your own space, with days and times that are flexible to your needs. 

In Person

Our in-person counselling sessions in Kelowna, BC, provide a safe and compassionate space for individuals dealing with trauma, anxiety, and depression. We offer personalized support to help you navigate life’s challenges and work towards healing. Through one-on-one sessions, we focus on your unique needs, using proven therapeutic approaches to help you manage symptoms, build resilience, and achieve greater emotional well-being. Whether you’re seeking relief from overwhelming emotions or looking to explore deeper personal growth, our dedicated counselling services are here to support you every step of the way.

Walk and Talk/Outdoor

Walk and Talk Outdoor Therapy takes you away from distractions and gets you back to nature. You and your counsellor will step away from the traditional office setting and could be out walking or sitting in a nearby park or by the lake. Combining mindfulness-based physical activity (walking) with traditional talk therapy can provide you with a unique opportunity to practice being in the moment – breathing in fresh air and being at peace with your surroundings - while working through your concerns.
